My name is Jenna Zschaebitz. This is my first year in Digital Photography and it has been a great experience so far. Photography is a way of capturing memories. It is a way of remembering, feeling, touching ,and of loving. As Aaron Siskind said: "What you have caught on film is captured forever...it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything." There are many photographers that have inspired : Annie Libovitz, Elliot Herwit, John Shaw, and Richard Avedon. Richard Avedon has especially inspired me. His art is very abstract and creative. I love the way the hair of the model flows in this picture.Here is some of my work that was inspired by these photographers.
The little girls name is Gracy and she has Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA). She looks very vulnerable and thoughtful.
The last picture is of my friend Lindsey who I use as my model. I really like that the picture is asymmetric and that she sort of blends in with her surrounding.I hope you enjoyed it :)
